Watch TNA Lockdown 2026 PPV Full Show Live 8/23/26
TNA Lockdown is back, and this time the steel cage is coming to Chicago. The 2026 edition takes place on Sunday, August 23, at Credit Union 1 Arena, with a card built around championship fights, heated rivalries and the return of Lethal Lockdown.
It is also a big moment for the event itself. Lockdown has been away for several years, so bringing the concept back gives TNA fans another chance to see the promotion’s signature cage matches.
TNA Lockdown 2026 Preview
The TNA World Tag Team Championship will be on the line as Matt and Jeff Hardy defend against Nic and Ryan Nemeth. It is a rare brother-vs-brother tag team story, with both teams having plenty to prove.
The X-Division Championship will also be defended when Cedric Alexander takes on Leon Slater in a Last Man Standing match. There is even more at stake for Slater, as a loss could affect the record surrounding his title reign.
In the Knockouts division, Xia Brookside puts the Knockouts World Championship on the line against Elayna Black. With the match taking place inside the cage, both women will have to settle things without an easy way out.
Another title fight sees Jason Hotch battle Mustafa Ali for the TNA International Championship. Their history adds plenty of tension to what should be a physical encounter.
Lethal Lockdown Returns
One of the biggest attractions of the night is the return of Lethal Lockdown.
The System — Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson and Alisha Edwards — will face KC Navarro, Ricky Sosa, Fabian Aichner and Jada Stone. The match brings back the weapons and chaos that have made Lethal Lockdown one of TNA’s most recognizable match concepts.

Final Thoughts
There is a simple reason to be excited about Lockdown: the cage changes everything. Every match has a different feel when escaping the fight is no longer an option.
With the Hardys defending the tag titles, several championship matches, personal rivalries and the return of Lethal Lockdown, TNA has put together a card designed to make the most of its signature event.
TNA Lockdown 2026 promises a night of hard-hitting action, big title fights and plenty of steel-cage chaos when the show arrives in Chicago on August 23.
