Joshua Van captured the flyweight championship from Pantoja at UFC 323 after Pantoja was unable to continue following an elbow injury just 26 seconds into the opening round. Van later defended the belt against Tatsuro Taira with a fifth-round TKO at UFC 328.
Pantoja returns looking to regain the championship. Before losing the belt, the Brazilian successfully defended it four times against Brandon Royval, Steve Erceg, Kai Asakura and Kai Kara-France. The rematch gives both fighters the chance to settle their unfinished rivalry inside the Octagon.
The five-round co-main event features Arman Tsarukyan vs. Mauricio Ruffy in a lightweight matchup. The main card also includes Patricio Pitbull vs. Dooho Choi and Gable Steveson vs. Sean Sharaf.
